Toyota Warranty at Toyota Liffey Valley
The warranty covers any defect that is attributable to a manufacturing or assembly fault under normal use for a period of 3 years or 100,000km, whichever comes first.
The warranty covers the cost of towing your vehicle to the nearest authorised repairer in the event of a breakdown immobilising your vehicle if that breakdown is the result of a warrantable defect.
Surface rust and paintwork
Surface rust and paint defects appearing on any of the painted body panels due to a fault in material or workmanship are covered by warranty for 3 years, regardless of the mileage.
The warranty give 12 years’ coverage, regardless of mileage, against perforation of the bodywork (ie: any holes through the bodywork from inside to outside) due to corrosion that is attributable to faults in material or workmanship.
-When Toyota Genuine Accessories are fitted to a new car at the time of purchase, they have also covered the 3 year/100,000km duration of the warranty.
-Standard warranties can also be transferred to any future owner throughout the covered warranty period.

- The vehicle must be maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications and instructions, as set out in the owner’s manual. Failure to do so may invalidate the warranty for maintenance related items.
- The owner is responsible for keeping all records necessary to prove that such maintenance had been performed.
- In the event of defects requiring warranty work, the owner is obliged to present the vehicle to an Authorised Toyota Dealer/Repairer as soon as possible. This to prevent the defect from escalating and requiring more extensive repairs than would originally have been needed.
